FREE TUTORIAL ON HOW TO CONFIGURE YOUR FREEDOM SOFTWARE FOR FREE BROWSING ON MTN

Hi everyone,
I have decided to create this thread for those that don't know how to configure Your freedom on MTN, Glo,Zain and Etisalat, first of all you must have 3G network in your location to enjoy the full speed of your freedom on any of the networks. I have also used JAP, Ultrasurf, Tor etc to browse free but I prefer Your freedom.

First Lets Start with the requirments:
1. You Need an MTN line with 0 naira credit in it.
2. You need a phone that can be used as a modem to connect your computer to the internet. Such as Nokia phones with Nokia PC suite software or Motorola Phones with M Phone tools software.
3. You Need a Computer of Laptop
4. You need to register on hxxp: www. your-freedom. net/?referer=690386 and get your username and password to use the software. (REGISTRATION IS FREE)
5. Download Your Freedom from here: hxxp: www. your-freedom. net/index. php?id=3&referer=690386
6. Download OPEN VPN from here: hxxp: openvpn. net/download. html

NOW LETS START SETTING UP YOUR COMPUTER FOR FREE 24 HOUR A DAY BROWSING!!
1. Download and install Open VPN.
Next, click on start, control panel, network connection.
Right click the network connection that has TAP-Win32 Adapter V8 driver, then click on properties. Scroll down then click on Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), then click on properties.


CLICK ON OBTAIN AN IP ADDRESS AUTOMATICALLY and
OBTAIN DNS SERVER ADDRESS AUTOMATICALLY


Then Click on OK and double click the connection to enable it. It will say a network cable is unplugged for now.
2. Dowload and Install Your-Freedom and enter these settings.
Let me just explain everything step by step. Open Your-Freedom
-Click on the status tab. Then clicked on configure.
- On the server connection tab. Use these settings:
Address: ems07. your-freedom. de
Port: 53
Connection Mode: UDP
Next Click on Account Information and enter the username and password you received when you registered on hxxp: www. your-freedom. net/?referer=690386
Next Click on Proxy Settings Tab and enter these settings.
Proxy Address: 10. 199. 212. 8
Proxy Port: 8080

Proxy Username: web
Proxy Password: web
Proxy Domain: (leave this blank)
Proxy Type: HTTP/HTTPS
Proxy Authentication: Any or none
User Agent: (leave this blank)
FTP Proxy Server: (leave this blank)
Proxy Address (leave this blank)
Proxy Port:(leave this blank)
Now click on Save and Exit.

Now on the Your-Freedom Menu. Click on ports and select OPEN VPN.
Start your MTN connection to your PC. Then go to Your freedom again and Click on the status tab again and this time click on Start Connection. (Keep clicking on start connection till it connects, even if the connection fails)
Minimize the Your Freedom Windows and open Your web browser and start browsing.
Enjoy!

If it still does not connect or if it connects and you can not browse, open the Your Freedom window and click on the Ports tab and un check the OPEN VPN box. Then go to your browser and find the manual proxy configuration settings(proxy servers), probably under network settings, and enter this IP for all Proxies: 127. 0. 0. 1 and enter this port for all ports: 8080

Then Note: The settings above for Your freedom on MTN only enables you as free users to browse for just 6hours, I believe you all know this by now.
Presently I am no longer a free user because of am tired of the every 1hour disconnections which disturbs my web browsing, downloading and watch of tv online.
